Live the life you deserve, I’m here to help.
Who I Am
Nicole Rethy, a Registered Social Worker, mother of two children and a quirky Bernadoodle. I understand that life’s many stressors and changes can affect your relationship with yourself and your loved ones. With over 15 years of experience working in mental health, and having completed and used multiple different types of treatment, I am able to adapt my approach to address your or your loved one’s needs.
I provide psychotherapy to couples and families, and I am also able to support individuals.
My aim is to meet you where you are - providing support, education, and strategies to help you navigate your world.
My other loves and passions include my family, spending time outside- especially near water, reading, rowing and running as well as travel.
I take a holistic, anti-oppressive and trauma informed approach to care, catering services specific to each couples needs. I use Gottman Method Couples Therapy to help work towards your relationship goals.
For individual psychotherapy, the modalities of therapy I practice include:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy,
Narrative Therapy,
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy,
Mindfulness Based Approaches
I continuously work towards completing additional training courses to ensure that my practice is up to date with the latest research.
